How can I not be grateful and indebted for all the opportunities I have got to serve and improve the lives of individuals and communities? These are some of my accomplishments, big and small; some kept me on tip-toe to achieve them, and some just needed my experiences and focus. After all, these are only my true earnings.

  • A key role in getting Direct Access for physical therapists in Michigan.  I was invited by Governor Snyder to the signing of the bill.
  • Instrumental in the licensure of Physical Therapist Assistants in Michigan, contributing to the bill’s formulation.
  • Attended a 3-day Law-Item writing workshop, crafting questions for the Physical Therapy exam in California.
  • I proudly represented the U.S. as a delegate at the 2015 World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) Congress in Singapore, an honor I’ll never forget.
  • Represented Michigan at the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy annual meeting in San Francisco.
  • Proudly served as Michigan’s Fitness Ambassador, promoting physical well-being.
  • Selected to attend the Leadership Issues Forum in Alexandria, Virginia, addressing critical public health topics.
  • Recognized for outstanding contributions at the Federation’s annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Volunteered as a Continuing Competence Certification Reviewer for Pro-Cert.
  • Appointed by the Federation’s President to serve on the Tellers Committee.
  • Represented Michigan as a delegate at the Federation’s 2012 annual meeting in Indianapolis.
  • Attended the Pain and Palliative Care Assembly conference, gaining insights into effective pain management.
  • Represented the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy at the Jurisdictional Board and Administrator Training.
  • Actively participated in Legislative Breakfasts in Lansing, supporting Direct Access for Physical Therapists.
  • Represented Michigan at the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy meetings in 2007 and 2008.
  • Recognized for academic excellence on the President’s List at Xavier University School of Medicine.
